This delicious iced tea is super easy to make and made with freshly brewed Madura Earl Grey Tea infused with lychee. It’s a refreshing summer treat bursting with flavour.

Lychees are known for their sweet and flowery light flavour and typically eaten fresh. However, you can use the tinned versions – be aware of the sugar levels, as the lychee can be soaking in a sugary syrup.

Though not for everyone, the lychee is a beautiful fruit with plenty of health benefits – combine with tea and thank you very much for this fresh icy brew packed with nutrients!

Why are these little ping pong sized fruit not only so utterly delicious but equally healthy?

  • They contain Vitamin C, Vitamin B-complex, copper, folate, magnesium and phytonutrient flavonoids.
  • They contain fibre which can increase metabolism fat, protein and carbohydrate.
  • Lychees also contain high amounts of antioxidants.

With this recipe, we have selected a Madura Earl Grey, due to its unique taste. The subtle citrus-orange of bergamot gives it a delicate aroma with an instantly recognisable hit of flavour and is available in loose-leaf, leaf infuser or tea bag – the choice is yours!
