Brewing Instructions

Boil fresh, ideally filtered water
Let water cool slightly
250mL hot (80-85°C) water per cup
1 Sencha Green pyramid bag per cup
(+1 bag if brewing in a pot)
Steep for 4-5 minutes

Enjoyed without milk

Our morning before breakfast luxury.

This great tea is rarely seen in the supermarkets so we purchase 6 refill packs on line to refill our Sencha caddy just before our supply is exhausted. My wife and I start the day with a cup of Madura Sencha green tea. We keep it for that first special morning cup with Madura green tea during the day.

So far so good

Trying this for the first time. Although it is not as strong as the Japanese brand I have been using it is still a really nice tea at a much more affordable price than the Japanese brand.

Sensual Sencha

The Madura Sencha never fails to transport my palate to another green tea dimension. I first bought it in leaf form which I prefer to the bags.

Uncertain if bags are compostable so eventhough I like the tea will not buy again untill it is in a single teapot reusalbe bag. Tea is nice

The best green tea

I order my tea online on a regular basis. The Sencha Green tea is my regular favourite - and I've tried a lot of green teas - I highly recommend it. It has a great flavour. I'm drinking it as I type :-) I also used to buy the Dragon Pearls from Madura but they don't seem to sell those anymore which is a shame.

Convenient little packs

I purchase my Sencha green tea six little packs at a time. The tea has a great taste and colour and with lengthy ‘use by’ dates I can keep a great amount of Sencha so I never run out!
